Rotolando Verso Sud
Rotolando Verso Sud è un progetto che mira a portare aiuti a due organizzazioni nel nord dell'Uganda.
L'Uganda è stata teatro di un conflitto civile durato oltre trent'anni, le cui conseguenze si vedono ancora. A questo si aggiunge il fatto che il Nord del Paese ospita migliaia di rifugiati, accogliendo in modo dignitoso tutte le persone che hanno bisogno.
Le organizzazioni con cui collaborerà il team di Rotolando Verso Sud si trovano a Gulu, una delle città più importanti del Paese.
LE ORGANIZZAZIONI
Yolred è un'organizzazione che si occupa di reinserire nella società ex bambini soldato attraverso attività ricreative e sensibilizzazione.
Wawoto Kacel è una cooperativa che fornisce lavoro a donne vulnerabili, fra cui ex schiave sessuali, disabili e donne sieropositive, al fine di reintegrarle nella comunità.
IL TEAM
Cecilia ha 25 anni e si sta laureando in Relazioni Internazionali, lavora da anni con profughi e migranti. L'interesse nei confronti dei minori è dato dalla ferma convinzione che un'infanzia dignitosa è il punto di partenza per creare un mondo onesto.
Carlotta ha 25 anni ed è laureata in Psicologia Clinica. Si occupa da anni di rifugiati in diversi Paesi e lavora soprattutto con chi ha subito traumi di guerra. Crede che tutte le persone al mondo abbiano gli stessi diritti, a prescindere da origine, cultura e religione.
UN REGALO PER I DONATORI
Chi contribuirà alla nostra campagna potrà ricevere in dono alcuni oggetti artigianali prodotti con materie prime locali dalle donne che lavorano per Wawoto Kacel.
Chi donerà 50 € riceverà in dono un cestino in vimini, chi contribuirà con 75 € avrà in regalo un astuccio per i-Pad e chi donerà 100 € riceverà una tovaglia lavorata, cucita e tinta a mano.

Rotolando Verso Sud is a project aiming at bringing humanitarian help to two organizations in Northern Uganda.
Uganda has been theatre of a civil conflict for more than thirty years and its consequences are still evident. Moreover, the northern part of the country welcomes thousands of refugees, trying to give an adequate assistance to all the people in need.
“Rotolando Verso Sud” will collaborate with two organizations placed in Gulu, one of the most important Ugandan cities.
THE ORGANISATIONS
Yolred is an organization engaged in the former child soldiers’ inclusion in the society through recreational and educational activities.
Wawoto Kacel is a cooperative that give work to vulnerable women, such as former sexual slaves, disables and HIV positive women, aiming at their reintegration in the community.
THE TEAM
Cecilia is 25 and she is graduating in International Relations, she has been working with refugees and migrants for years. Her interests in children’s rights derives from the strict belief that a dignified childhood is the starting point for the creation of a fair world.
Carlotta is 25 and she has graduated in Clinical Psychology. She has been working with refugees for years in different countries and she especially deals with those that have suffered trauma of war. She firmly believes that all the people have the same rights, no matter the orgin, the culture or the religion.
A GIFT FOR THE GIVERS
Who will contribute to our campaign will receive as a gift handmade products made with local materials, produced by Ugandan women, which work in Wawoto Kacel.
Who will donate €50 will receive a wicker basket, who will offer €75 will receive as a gift an iPad case; lastly with €100 a handmade table-cloth.
