Rose’s battle through cancer & pregnancy

For those of you who know Daniel and Rose, you would agree that your life is better for it. For any of you who are yet to meet this happy, selfless couple let me give you a little insight to their story.
This young married couple both have thriving careers, enjoy the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends and their love for one another is honestly just next level. However something was missing. Daniel and Rose longed for a family of their own. After heartbreaking failed attempts it led them to enter the journey of IVF.
Month after month, year after year the negative IVF cycles began to take its toll. Especially on rose and her body. Countless needles, medications, operations, scans and tests.
Finally after 4 years and 9 cycles of IVF Rose finally fell pregnant. Unfortunately Rose later had a miscarriage. They then kept trying and became pregnant again. (With the help of Lynn Burmeister). This really was a dream come true for them both. They got to the safe stage and they were so excited for the impending arrival of their precious baby boy. It was then, only a few short weeks after announcing their pregnancy to the world, they received the devastating news that Rose was diagnosed with aggressive triple negative breast cancer.
They had no time to waste according to the specialists. She has already undergone her first surgery and there is many more to come once she gives birth.
With appointments and meetings every couple of days with Rose’s Oncologist, surgeons and care team she is soon to begin chemotherapy in just a few short weeks. Rose will not be returning to work and will see out the rest of her pregnancy trying to beat this terrible disease and grow their unborn baby boy.
Daniel started his own business a couple of years ago and this year he had many plans for it. However he has stepped away to be there and support his amazing wife.
We have decided to put this fundraiser together not mainly for the money but to show our support for them. They have a long road ahead for what should’ve been the happiest time of their lives. Any money raised will go towards helping them fund the costs of their upcoming battle through this difficult time.
