Rose's Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training

This story begins in a hotel room in Brooklyn in 2005, when my aunt whispered infinity. At 11 years old, I learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique (TM), and a flame was lit inside.
Fast forward 11 years, in a studio in Paris, I decided that I would practice TM twice daily for twenty minutes. At 22 years old, I was finally able to integrate the gift of Transcendental Meditation into my life – the best decision I’ve ever made.
Very quickly, I began to feel a push towards, what I feel is, the most evolutionary direction for my life. My meditation practice has been pushing me, like a steady wind against a sail, towards my life’s purpose.
I came to MERU in the Netherlands to stay with my aunt and uncle. I worked in the Course Office, received Advanced Techniques of TM, participated in courses and celebrations, became a TM Sidha and a Maharishi Aroma Therapy Consultant; and consequently, I developed a very strong conviction about the effectiveness of TM and the TM Sidhi Program.
Through my recent work on different projects such as course development and Vedic research, I have developed a sincere appreciation for the knowledge that Maharishi has given to the world and the significance of its depth, breadth, and wholeness.
Daily practice of TM and the TM Sidhi Program supports every aspect of my life and is allowing me to become the best, most authentic version of myself.
It has always been my deepest desire to reduce suffering and have a positive influence in the world. This is why teaching Transcendental Meditation is the first profession that has caught my attention. From both personal experience with the technique and intellectual understanding of Maharishi Vedic Science, it has become my dream to be a Teacher of Transcendental Meditation.
This is why I am fundraising to participate in the 2019 TM Teacher Training Course in Chantabouri, Thailand. The course is a 5-month professional training program that is held in residence from September 2019 to February 2020, at the end of which, I will be certified to teach Transcendental Meditation. I am fully committed to teaching TM after graduation for at least two years in the United States, after which I hope to teach internationally. As a TM teacher, I intend to put special attention on reaching students, so that the younger generation can find fulfilment in every aspect of life, creating a brighter future for all.
My fundraising goal is 10,008 USD which will go towards the total 19,500 USD course fee, which includes room and board.
