root to rise

My daughter will have just turned 18 at the time of this Retreat. I can’t dream of a more meaningful rite of passage than to be in a loving, supportive and nurturing environment such as Root to Rise Finca Camino Nuevo center.

It's an opportunity to leave behind our old habits, patterns, and old wounds, traumas and dark memories. The Root to Rise 8-day curriculum has been carefully crafted to tend to the minds, bodies and hearts of women, which have been compromised by generations oppression and silence around sexual, physical and/or emotional violence
These experiences impact us All today and puts us into our old selves, stories and stuck junk. Not only for us but also for generations to come, the men before and after us, the children and our grandparents. We are standing in the gap. We are ready to transform! Please help us make this happen :) 

Root To Rise is a complete package and the timing is serendipitous.
All your funds that you donate goes towards the bigger picture! It goes towards our transmutation of becoming wiser, happier, and living in the freedom we deserve! Grandmother Kaariina (MEd, Counseling) and Karen (MA, Ed. Leadership) bring 65+ years of joint experience to the Root to Rise retreat as mentors, educators and facilitators. Their 2019 support staff include a yoga and sacred / therapeutic dance specialist, a vegan chef, and a ceramics artist. Root to Rise will be housed at the Finca Camino Nuevo retreat center, at the base of the world-renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest preserve. Five percent of retreat profits will directly support the local Children’s Eternal Rainforest.
