On Monday May 7th, Ron White had a very serious accident while working. He passed out and fell about 10' into an empty pool.  He sustained Traumatic Brain Injury,  Epidural Hematoma is what the doctors stated. He had a severe brain bleed and 5 fractured ribs.  He was  taken by ambulance to Banner UMC Trauma Center.  The doctors did CT Scans and determined that they would be prepared to go to surgery to remove the pressure and excess blood by the next morning if it had continue to worsen they way it was looking. He was unable to articulate a full sentence or complete a thought but recognized Nina when she arrived to the ER and was able to somewhat communicate words.  He had no memory of what happened or why he was in the ER.

Tuesday May 8th- He was conscious and in a lot of pain. He was able to communicate much better but still confused as to what happened and had no memory still. He was able to get up and walk several times.  Scans showed that the bleeding had stabilized enough to Not require surgery. The doctors were amazed and said they hadn't seen a case this severe stabilize so quickly.

Wednesday May 9th- Ron showed dramatic improvement and was able to articulate full sentences but still in tremendous pain.  He stabilized enough to be sent to a regular floor to recover.'

Thursday May 10th- Ron had made such  unbelievable progress that they released him to the care of Family and he is resting and recovering until doctors release him back to normal daily functions. He will have follow up care with the ENT doctors and Neurologist to determine if the bleeding on the brain has absorbed or if further surgery would be needed. Unfortunately, Ribs take awhile to heal and nothing can be done but rest and time.

Ron works as an Independent Contractor and had no insurance at the time of the accident. The medical bills are expected to exceed $100,000 for his time in ICU at Banner UMC Trauma Center.  It will be awhile before he can return to work. The medical bills are already rolling in and we Pray for Provision and Full Restoration of his Body and Mind.

The funds will be used to take care of Medical Bills and Living expenses to help bridge the gap until he is released to go back to work. We hope that is soon. It could be a few months before he is back to full throttle.

Ron is appreciative  all the Prayers and Positive Thoughts sent his way.
Also Thank you  from the Family of Ron as well for the kindness and generosity  shown during this very difficult time.  It is times like these that we realize the magnitude of lives Ron White has touched over the years.

Infinite Thanks!
