SUPPORT ESTHER TO TEACH LONGBOARD WITHOUT BORDERS AND MAKE A VAN HER HOME
Dear friends, dear passersby,
I'm Esther, 33, professional photographer and longboarder .
Most of you know that i had/have an intense struggle with my health condition for the last years.
I left everything behind to find a place where i can heal and enjoy every moment. It meant leaving beloved people behind and security on the track.
It was the right decision.
I am a fighter and for being a fighter you need something you are fighting for. A vision and love without thinking in gender and nations.
I started longboarding 4 or 5 years ago and it enriches my life in a way i never imagined.
It gives me freedom and brings me closer to my very personal needs and the person i want to be.
These last years sometimes i couldn't find the strength to skate myself and i developed teaching longboard as my greatest passion. Especially teaching people that are not used to someone telling them 'You can do it! You are courageous, you have talent!' Empathy is key.
So these days that i start to believe in a future again my biggest dream is to give others the possibility to grow with Longboarding, to feel the freedom and the joy that fills your heart skating through the world and exploring a different perspective.
So here it comes to your support:
I want to customize a van and turn it into a skate(work)shop on wheels.
With this microhome - skateshop i will give classes to people who can't afford it and to people who can while sustaining myself with a small skateshop in the van.
The tiny shop will travel around Europe especially to remote regions to bring some Skatefever and joy for movement to kids and adult kids.
The money you give will be invested to buy a simple van and customize it.
10% of the income of my skateshop will be donated to our German non-profit organization Deutsche Krebshilfe , a leading organization to fight cancer in Europe.
Please help me make my dream come true before end of June.
