Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out to all of you to ask for your help with a very serious matter. Some of you may or may not know Rogue (Priscila), but she is a very dear friend of mine, my partner in crime with Brooklyn Took It, and an all around kick ass human being. For those of you that have had the opportunity to meet her or work with her, you know that she is by far one of the most compassionate, driven, and loving human beings you've probably ever met. She needs your help.
A few weeks ago Rogue was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and needs to start chemotherapy treatment right away. She has been out of work for the last few weeks due to surgery, and is recovery as I write this. With her missing the last few weeks of work, bills are already starting to pile up. As of now, we are not sure how the chemo is going to effect her, but it's safe to say that she will most likely have a very difficult time working during her treatment. As you already know, cancer and chemo has a different effect on everyone, but the one thing that remains consistent is the uncertainty of the side effects of treatment. We are preparing ourselves for anything that comes our way, and this is where you can help.

We are asking for donations to help her with unforeseen medical expenses, rent and bills, other expenses associated with treatment, etc. This has hit Rogue extremely hard and it has completely changed her life. Aside from treatment, I am assisting her with a change in diet, exercise, and all around positive outlook in her road to recovery. The deeper we get into this, the more we realize and understand the financial burden that this is going to have. We were able to sit down and calculate what she will need to make it through this time. Our original goal was $20,000 which will cover the above mentioned expenses, and provide a safety net for her to get back on her feet. We recently met with her Oncologist, Dr. Alan Dosik , and was informed that she will need to undergo fertility precautionary treatments which will run in the ballpark of $12,000, which increases our goal to roughly $32,000.
We are hosting a fundraiser on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 10PM, at Friends and Lovers (641 Classon Ave, Brooklyn) to help raise funds. For those outside of the NJ and NYC area or can't make the event, we've set up this page to accept donations. All proceeds from the event will go towards our $32,000 goal.
