Rocky Balboa's Hip Surgery-Medical

Hey, my name is Ashley Gill from Tallahassee, FL.  There has been the sweetest most gentle kitty (about 1 year old), who we named Rocky Balboa, who has been wandering around our neighborhood the past couple of weeks.  He is the most sweetest, gentle, and polite kitty. Rocky was run over by a car last night and was left stranded on the street.  His cry for help was so overwhelming, we immediately knew he was hurt.  We rushed him to the ER for immediate medical attention. We decided to claim legal ownership at that time, so he could get the proper health care he needed and deserved. Rocky was given pain medicine and flea contol during his visit.  Turns out Rocky has a broken right pelvis, that requires surgery.  If the surgery does not happen, his bones will calcify out of place and he will have a limp the rest of his life and will also develop arthritis.  I have never asked for anything my entire life and I have given a lot of thought into this post.  My entire life has been devoted to animals and their well-being and I know a lot of people have been in this position before.  Dropping Rocky off at the shelter is not an option.  I know this is a lot to take-in at the moment, but there is something special about Rocky.  Everyone deserves a great life (including animals).  I appreciate your time and attention given to his story.
