Rockhound Break In Recovery

Hello Rockhound Friends. Early morning on December 2nd,  there was a break in at Rockhound. Some damage occurred to the pub, and all of our cash on hand was stolen. We are beyond sad and violated right now, but we will be working with authorities to investigate and hopefully prosecute the thieves. Thankfully, this has not interrupted our operations and we are open for business, as usual.

Unfortunately, for a small, young business like us, this hits us particularly hard. We don't have extra cash in the bank to absorb a loss such as this one. We will ensure that our loyal staff gets paid, however, we will feel this loss heavily for the next two rounds of payroll, as well as other unexpected expenses related to an occurrence like this. We will be working with insurance to recoup what we can, but in the meantime, we need some help to get through this rough patch. If you want to support us, we'd really appreciate it. You can come and get a gift card for your holiday giving, or for yourself, which would help offset that sudden loss of cash. Or you can come in and grab a growler, crowler, or enjoy a meal or a few beers with friends, of course.

If you choose to make a donation, please know that we will use the proceeds only to indemnify us, as well as to fund some security upgrades to prevent this from happening in the future, and any money above and beyond what we need will be donated to local charities.
