Mega Man Legends 3 Model Rocket
To give Capcom a push in the right direction and celebrate the anniversary of Get Me Off The Moon's creation and Mega Man's 25th Anniversary we would like to complete the Mega man legends 3 Rocket. Get Me Off The Moon wants to build a 3-foot tall replica of the rocket that would've saved Mega Man, and it won't be just any old model. Our rocket is gonna fly! In order to complete our rocket, Get Me Off The Moon is going to enlist the help of an 18-year rocketry veteran and a Roll Cosplayer to help built and launch the rocket .
However, such a glamorous rocket will require a hefty amount of money to fund. I've sold my 3DS and a number of games to help fund the rocket, but we're still gonna need help! We have laid a a number of prizes but all donors will revive their just recognition. You guys are the unsung heroes of 100k and we can't built this rocket without you .
Hey Laron, how's it going with the rocket? Making big plans I hope?
This is a great idea, making a rocket that flies!
Yay! 1,500 now! I never knew this would keep up like this! Keep on going! Legends never die!
Cool, thanks for the details. Best of luck with the rocket show, man!
@mike High power rockets are design to break apart when they hit a certain altitude( so they dont mess with aircraft) . They break up and the parts parachute back down to earth . The only possible way this can go wrong is if the motor is defective and blows up which is unlikely but possible .
So, if someone were to donate $500 to get the model rocket after the launch, how can you get it safely down after it's been launched? Got a plan? I'm curious as to what pyrotechnics the rocket can/might deploy in-flight and how high it'll go.
Continued for the last post :If what you said is true then you should help us find a model rocketeer for a fair price or seeing as this is your area of expertise, then perhaps you can build the rocket for us. Ball's in your court,Jim.
You accused the rocket of being a rip off and I set the record straight regarding myself . I am not ripping anyone off and if anyone is being ripped off it is me . You posted 6 of the same comment that was the reason I deleted your comments. The rocket you posted and the rocket from the game are different. Pros are needed because 1 the cosplayer has never launched a rocket( always safety first ) and 2 we are currently looking into make a 5 foot tall rocket if we get enough funds . The 5 foot rocket will require level 1 or Level 2 modeler to purchase the motor and to actually prep the model for you at the launch. He or She will also have to be the one that signs the flight card. Any model that flies on an H or larger motor has to get FAA clearance to fly and usually this means flying at a local rocket club launch . That is why I said that pros would be involved. The Rocket guy doesn't have any of the public's money just yet (only mine). If what you said is true then you sh
Woah, I didn't accuse you of anything and I don't like having words put in my mouth. I also don't trust comment scrubbers. All I was saying is that this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4WboXcW7Nw costing $1,000 does not add up in my experience, even if the rocket was gold plated in the custom 28 design. Why would you need professionals for the launch? I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, I want L3 as much as anyone, but I can't donate to this and I'd hate to see people getting ripped off.
Oh What a Great Idea ! This can change everything i think capcom would change their mind when they see this!
Can we get a pic of the T-shirt? Also, it should be spelled "Gold Refractor".
