Roberto's Medical Fund

On February 12, 2017, our dear friend and long standing team member Roberto Lazo suffered a stroke and had to be treated by the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Holy Cross Hospital in Maryland.  Knowing Roberto to be in his early 40's, we were shocked to hear the news when his wife Giselle called us later that evening, as it is highly unusual for someone his age to suffer such an incident.  Roberto has been a key member of our team for the past five years as many of you know.  He was first being treated by the intensive care unit for about 10 days before being transferred to Medstar Rehabiliation Center where he is still undergoing treatment. 


We are completely saddened by this travesty. He has trouble with short-term memory, suffers from loss of speech, and is completely paraylzed on the right side of his body. It will be an uphill battle not just for Roberto, but for his wife Giselle and his four daughters - Sofia, Victoria, Natalia, and Luciana - who are all under the age of 14.


Many of you know Roberto from our circle of friends. Some of you know him from his work on a project of yours, and some of you know him from being on our preferred vendor list.  We are asking all of you for your help!  While it will be an uphill battle, we all know in our hearts that he will make it back to being 100%.  All contributions will go towards helping Roberto and his family.  It will be used to cover surgical costs, hospital bills, and living expenses during these challenging times for this wonderful family ahead.
