Robert & Sophia's House Fire

On Friday, April 28, 2017 our home caught fire. We had contacted an electrician to make electrical repairs to the house. During the course of his testing the breakers, we heard a loud pop and the lights flickered. Because everything returned to normal we thought we were fine. But, when the electrician returned with his tools he told us to call 911 because our house was on fire.
We are fortunate in that everyone, including my 72 year old wheel-chair bound mother, was able to get out of the house on time. Unfortunately, fire destroyed most of the upstairs where my mother and son were and the middle hallway areas. The rest of the house, including the basement, was flooded out as the firemen labored to put out the fire.
Because the house itself was paid in full, we did not renew home/fire insurance when we should have. Now, all clean-up and restoration costs are coming out of pocket. In addition, we're now incurring additional living expenses we didn't have before as home owners (rent, etc.)
Any financial assistance you can provide to help us rebuild is greatly appreciated. If you don't have anything to give, please continue to keep us lifted in prayer that God will continue to provide strength, peace, wisdom, and direction. And, that the right people will come our way as we've already experienced some people attempting to take advantage of our situation.
