THANK YOU for your ongoing friendship, donations, kindness, love and support. With your help we were able to secure cremation arrangements for Robert and celebrate his life the way he would have enjoyed the most... SEAHAWKS TAILGATE STYLE!! Robert was a huge Seahawks fan and would have loved the decorations, music and sports theme. As family and friends from Seattle and his hometown of Aberdeen, Washington gathered during his Memorial on Saturday, February 11th, the room was filled with childhood stories, fond memories, laughter, tears, photos, children playing and delicious potluck food!
ROBERT LOVED FAMILY THE MOST AND SHARING THIS TIME TOGETHER MEANT THE WORLD TO ME. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE CONTACT WITH ANYONE. YOUR SUPPORT AND CONNECTION TO ROBERT IS ALL I HAVE.
Robert was the breadwinner of our family. As my sole support he was my rock, and I relied on him for everything. He was my best friend, lover and soul mate. After spending the last 7 years together I am slowly picking up the pieces of my broken heart. After being homeless for many years I am temporarily staying with my daughter and her girlfriend. I am grateful for their help because without community & family support I am uncertain about my immediate future and how I will meet my current financial needs.
In spite of my grief and loneliness I am rebuilding my life. Losing Robert has caused me a great deal of daily anxiety. Some days I find it difficult to leave the house and the thought of never seeing Robert again is overwhelming leading to countless sleepless nights. I have privately battled chronic mental health issues for my entire life (this was something Robert helped me manage) and as a result of this I am unable to work. I have applied for disability insurance many times and have yet to receive any support. Only our closest family and friends have known about my medical needs and struggles. ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MANAGED BY ME AND USED TO PAY; housing, medical, utility and food expenses while I stay with my daughter.
