Robert Hill passed away Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018. This page is in an effort to help the grieving family pay for the cost of funeral arrangements. Robert Hill was a proud son, brother, and uncle. Please keep the Hill family in your prayers through this tragic time. Anything you can do to help them offset the cost during this hardship is greatly appreciated.

ROBERT WAS A NATIVE DETROITER, A SOLDIER, A CYCLIST, A TRUE RIDE OR DIE GUY THAT LOVED THE TASTE OF HIS CIGARS. Robert circled Cigar bars such as La Casa, London Chop House, Detroit Seafood, etc.....His quote was, "what little I have, I will share with others and live my life in the city of Detroit."
THE STORY:
Robert lived alone and in the past years was diagnosed with diabetes. When his illness got worse, he reached out for help but was unable to get it. He struggled with a common diabetes illness with little help from any and rarely spoke about his illness. He wanted to be considered healthy as others and tell every one, "don't worry about me". Due to his diabetes illness, No insurance company would consider insuring him at a reasonable cost. After many years of struggling with his illness, he was unable to continue with his work, and therefore unable to maintain his insurance.
A BRIEF REFLECTION:
Robert was the son of the late Elizabeth Hill and Jardine Foster. He was the father of 3 boys and 2 girls. Robert spent most of his days biking in the city of Detroit with numerous Detroit biking groups. Robert leaves to mourn his dear children, sisters, brothers and friends. Robert worked as a chauffer driver for many different Detroit companies.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).
