A LITTLE ABOUT KATIE
The 'Mystery' of Father Dowling shook the world. Communities across the country wondered for days who or what the mysterious figure was who prayed at the site of a violent car crash involving Katie Lentz. First responders and witnesses of the events didn't hesitate to call the event "a miracle".
Katie is extremely grateful to be alive after sustaining several life-threatening injuries. Katie, a 19-year-old student, originally from Missouri, hopes to attend Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, this year.

Not sure that anyone is monitoring this page any more since the last post was 21 months ago but I was in a crash with a drunk driver on October 5 2015. I was hit head on at 60 miles an hour had my leg and both feet severely broken. I was in a full size pickup and he crossed the center line on a two lane highway and crashed into me. the wreck was very violent and i was trapped in y vehicle for an hour hanging upside down trapped by the floorboards and my seatbelt. At this point I am on the mend but will forever have issues with my feet and back. Something needs to be done about Drunk Drivers. they get off way to easy, Mine is going to get probation, even though he caused my family a ton of pain and grief. I have since lost my job, and am now fighting depression after being trapped in my house for 8 months. I am just barely able to walk at this point only on crutches for 10 mins a day maybe a bit more. good luck with you healing Katie it is a long process and God will help you along despite the naysayers here.
I dont usually comment to comments like this, but for whatever reason, this really spoke to me. God allows us to have freewill. He doesn't want puppets in the world. He wants us to come to him and to love him because we want to, not because we HAVE too. With that being said, God allows people to make mistakes, people to get hurt, people to get sick, and people to die. He doesn't want those things to happen, but it does. We know that our lives will not be easy, but He will always be with us to help us through whatever challenges we face. God was there in the accident.... he was there through the emergency responders AND the priest. Ask God to show himself to you. I'm sure he will if you are willing to have an open mind and heart and SEE his love for YOU.
Why didn't god prevent the accident in the first place? Why did god allow you to get hurt?....could it be there is no god and your survival is due to emergency responders?
