Ashelynn Wilson-Vann, age 13, competed in the USA Women's Level 7 State Championships on Saturday, March 18. She finished 5th on Vault, 4th on Uneven Bars, 4th on Floor and 4th place All Around. From the entire weekend over 450 girls were competing at State and only 244 would advance to Regionals. In Ashelynn's age division they were only taking the top 5 girls (out of 11) and she made it!!! This is Ashelynn's first time to ever make to Regionals and her Tall Timbers Gymnastics family couldn't be more proud of her.
It is Ashelynn's dream to get to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico to compete at Regionals. She needs help getting there. Between airfare, food, hotel and competition fee's her family can not afford to send her. This is a once in a lifetime chance for her so we are asking for your help to make her dreams come true. She has put in many years of training and hundreds of hours of sweat, blood and tears (literally) to get to this point in her gymnastics career. We want to see her continue to succeed at anything to sets her mind on!
