Rivera Family Atalaya Relief Fund

Puerto Rico was hit hard by Hurricane Maria. The rural areas of  Aguadilla and Rincon have not received relief yet because their location is more remote and leading into the Mountains. There are few trustworthy relief efforts and so we are raising funds that will directly help the Rivera family and neighbors that live in the mountainous Atalaya region above Rincon, close to Snow's Bakery. 

These people need supplies, generators, lamps, food, water and our labor to help clear roads and repair their houses because it will be months before power and water is restored.  Most of the people there are elderly.

We are raising funds to buy care packages items:  batteries, candles, lamps, battery-operated or crank radio, satellite phone, medicines, first-aid supplies, solar phone chargers, etc. We are planning a trip for two family members to travel there to set things up for the others to come and help with the clean up and repairs.

And more specifically, we want to buy a generator so we can setup a safe space where folks on the mountain, especially the older folks, can get some relief from the conditions.
