Please Help River Johnson!!!

On August 12, our brother, friend, and former teammate River Johnson was involved in a serious car accident while driving to work that morning at around 7 am. The accident occurred on South High Street in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where River, age 21, is attending school at West Chester University. He was ejected from his vehicle after hitting a tree and suffered severe life threatening head trauma.

Thanks to the efforts of the West Chester Police Department, River was transported to Paoli Trauma Center in Paoli, Pennsylvania before being transferred to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where he underwent emergency brain surgery. Thanks to the hospital's medical staff River underwent successful surgery that stopped the bleeding in his head. Unfortunately, River is still in a coma and we are currently awaiting word on the outcome and severity of his condition. Regardless, the vast medical bills for River’s surgery, treatment, and eventual rehab will be astronomical and his family can use all the help they can get dealing with these bills. River is the eldest brother of 7 and his entire family needs as much support as possible at this time.


Everyone who knows River knows him as a bright and promising student, a loyal and generous friend, a loving and caring brother and son, and most importantly to him the biggest Philadelphia sports fan any of us know. Whether you know him or not, River and his family can use all the help and support they can get while going through this difficult situation.
