Ring of Fire goes to WUCC

Donation protected
Ring of Fire  is entering into our 29th year and is proud, for the second time, to represent North Carolina and the United States at the World Ultimate Club Championships  this summer. Ring has built a tradition of excellence by qualifying for USA Ultimate's club nationals 19 years running including making the semifinals three of the last four years. Unfortunately, the cost of competing at WUCC this year is extraordinary with player and bid fees totaling  over $10,000. In order to reduce the costs for our players, we are looking for community support. Our goal is to raise $5,000 which will help make competing at this tournament financially possible for our players.

Ring of Fire loves our fans, especially when you boo us relentlessly. As a thank you for donating, we want to give back. If we receive enough donations we will make the following things happen. You will also notice that we have some ambitious stretch goals. While $5,000 would greatly help us compete at WUCC, we are also competing at the US Open, Pro Championships and hopefully Nationals. All of these tournaments come with higher player fees so every dollar you donate helps us tremendously.

Any donor donating at least $100 will be invited to a post-Worlds cookout in the Triangle. Exact date TBD.

$1,500 - We will give away 3 WUCC jerseys signed by the whole team. Anyone who makes a public donation will automatically be entered into the drawing for the jerseys.

$3,500 - We will host a free clinic/scrimmage for all ages in the Triangle.

$5,000 - We will make a Men of Ring calendar and release the PDF for free. Anyone who makes a public donation will receive a desktop calendar.

$7,500 - We will play an upside-down O point at Worlds.

$10,000 - We will build a Jinx Cam and bring it to WUCC and stream as many games (not just ours) that we can. Afterwards we will donate the Jinx Cam to the Triangle Ultimate to help promote our local youth, college, and club teams.

$15,000 - We will bring the Jinx Cam to Club Nationals and stream as many games as we can.
