Rim Butte Completion Project

Donation protected

All 4 Wheelers benefit from the completion of Rim Butte Trails. This trail is a result of the agency USFS working with 4 wheel drive enthusiasts.

The trails are almost completed: we have two brand new staging areas great for family camping; and wheeling from camp.

The news is we are in dire need of some finishing touches and back up signage.

Gravel-signs-truck fuel-picnic tables are just a few things we are lacking.  Deschutes County 4 Wheelers donated $500.00 last year to accompany the $2500. given by Omix-ADA.

You can see what $3000. worth of gravel looks like in the staging area named Ponderosa.  Not much.

Help comes in many packages: volunteer hours building the trail-letters written to agency in support of the project- AND-OR - donations made by those who are unable to assist any other way.

Someday you will be able to vacation at this 20 mile 'here or there' trail.  The area is one of the most beautiful forests in Deschutes NF.  You will have the best time traversing a very technical trail.  Please plan for your future wheeling by a donation into this gofundmepage.  You will receive a EIN number and your donation will be able to be counted as a tax deduction.

Time isn't on our side.  Snow is coming. Your help will open this trail system.  Sooner is better for my money!

Please help out building this trail system complete with toilets even your momma will use.  Your support will make the difference on when this system will open.

Be a hero to yourself and your rig: thank you for wheeling responsibly and thank you for thinking about Rim Butte and THANK YOU when you donate. And volunteers out there on the ground: thank you!
