Hi my friends For those who don't know me,  my name is Rigoberto Felipe. Unfortunately in 2004 I had an accident on a boat. That was a tragedy for my family and a drastic transformation for my life. From then until now, has been 13 years which my life is tied to a wheelchair. Perhaps many of you know how is the life of a disabled person, are disadvantaged, due to that how important is a wheelchair for mobility and independence. Every day a new ability is acquired to learn how to live with disability, improving quality of life. We also need medical equipment that help us have a little more personal independence but not all medicals insurance coverage to pay for. Example: a pediatric electric or power wheelchair as I need. They are highly expensive, while in some cases exceed $ 35,000. However with a small donation we can all make a difference and fulfill the dream or the need for a needy person. In my personal case, I had spinal cord injured at cervical level (C-5), and it is stronger necessary to use a pediatric chair to change position of the body to help with the circulation system and release pressure to the skin to void it broken. Since the beginning of my accident never had the opportunity to acquire these type of seats. The one I am using is already 13 years old, which is presents problems almost daily.
