Back in June 2014, I arranged with my local Tesla dealer to get a Tesla Model S for the day to write a review about it. That one day changed my life.
That night I purchased the web domain 'ImGettingATesla.com', unofficially changed my middle name to 'Tesla' and started trying to figure out how I could best spread the good word about Tesla and other electric vehicles.
At almost 54 years old, I am a new dad (again) and am almost recovered from surgery to repair a hernia injury suffered at work. Money is tight, but that cannot keep down my enthusiasm for Tesla cars - and other Electric Vehicles. Tesla is indeed changing the world and helping save the planet by accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. I feel a big NEED to share this with other people - and I'm willing to work extra hours every week for the privilege of doing so.
I'm raising money to put a downpayment on Tesla Model S that I can use to drive rideshare for Lyft. I will be using this vehicle to show rideshare riders the coolness and benefits of driving a Tesla and ditching polluting vehicles. This way I will be able to spend each day sharing the Tesla way and teaching people about a major way that they can help curb climate change by using electric vehicles and sustainable energy.
All monies received through this campaign will be used to purchase a Tesla Model S for electric vehicle education through ride sharing. Any additional funds raised will be used to help another Lyft driver purchase another Tesla vehicle to be used for ride sharing.
