Ride for Relief

Tax deductible
Ride for Relief is a motorcycle charity run organized by Pastor Chris Hardy and members of the First United Methodist Church (Bangor, PA) that will take place on Saturday, July 14th. The ride will be a 50+ mile tour of the scenic Slate Belt region, beginning and ending at the First United Methodist Church. The ride is raising money for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR*), and all funds will be allocated for United States disaster relief. This inaugural run for Ride for Relief is Pastor Chris' "fruitfulness project," which is a requirement for ordination.

Pastor Chris is currently serving First UMC in Bangor, PA and has a passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone, wherever they are in life. "It doesn't matter who you are or where you've come from, Jesus is for everyone," says Pastor Chris. "Coming together over a shared hobby, such as riding motorcycles, is an opportunity to share Christ's love with one another and our community."

Ride for Relief is a chance for new believers, life-long believers, persons seeking Christ, those curious about Jesus and Christians, and for those that want to help victims of disaster in the United States to come together for a special day while enjoying each other's company by going on a scenic motorcycle ride across the Slate Belt region.

Thank you very much for your generous donation and supporting Ride for Relief, UMCOR, and the victims of disaster. God bless you and yours.
