Ride Against Hunger

We are raising $4000 to buy the ingredients to pack 16,000 high nutrition meal packages for Burlington, VT area Food Pantries.  We are working with OutreachProgram.Org to help alleviate  food insecurity in Vermont. 

The bike ride will be June 11-12,  180 miles over two days, from Essex Center, Vermont to Manchester, New Hampshire for the 2019 New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  
(If weather does not permit the Manchester ride on those days, we will do a two-day 204 mile ride to Montréal and back later in the summer.)

The Meal Packaging Event will be on December 29th at the Essex Center United Methodist Church, involving area churches and non-churched neighbors.

The money you donate will make a difference for many food-insecure folk in the Burlington, Vermont area, many of whom are new immigrants and refugees.
