Since losing my TV job in Springfield, IL, I've been absolutely touched and moved by the love and support of central Illinois viewers. So much, that I've taken to heart the requests of thousands to start my own weather network.
With your support, I'm going to give my most sincere effort to start an on-line weather network for central Illinois. I'll have a webpage designed. I'll get computers and a graphics system. I'll subscribe to weather data firms. I'll even try to set up a green screen to give you some weather video like you see on TV. I'll have some working capital to devote time to the project. I'll send every update I do for you to Facebook and Twitter because I know so many of you turn there instead of the television when weather threatens. I also try to be there for you as much as possible to personally talk you through the storms in the middle of the night.
I'll likely have to work another job as well and possibly even move, but just like I've done for the TV station, I can be there for you during the most risky times, no matter where I am. Who knows, you may help me build a ground breaking business of social media weather for the entire country...all started for the 217. On the social media side, I'll continue to make you smile and try to inspire with Late Night LOLs and Sunday Morning Churches, as well as Three Things You Want To Know. I'll also continue to support our local community.

The more we raise, the more technology I can acquire for us. If we raise only a little, we will still do some very cool things you'll love.
