Rick's year of recovery

Hi everyone. My brother Rick, fell off a 25ft ladder on Saturday August 4th. He shattered both of his heels and tore two tendons in his left foot. He had to have surgery on both of his feet. He has steel plates and bolts holding his heels together. Doctor's say he won't be able to put any pressure on his feet for 6 months. After 6 month's he will be able to start physical therepy to learn to walk again. He will not be able to work for over a year and because this was at home and not at work, there is no income he is able to receive. He did have insurance, so thankfully portion of his medical bills will be covered, but that will only cover a small portion  of his medical bills that are going to be  in the thousands. He just got home from the hospital  yesterday August  8th and to make things  even more awful, his dog passed away this morning leaving them with a $1,500 vet bill from  when they took the dog in last week before Rick's accident. I'm hoping to raise enuff money to relieve some of stress from my brother and sister in law. If anyone can give anything, even a dollar it couldn't go to somebody more deserving.
