Richelieu's Accident Fund Drive

On 25 July 2019,  I was involved in a serious motor accident in Monrovia, Liberia.  My motor vehicle had a brake failure and  I ran into a car and a motor cycle.  Five persons, including myself, were wounded and are receiving treatment at local hospitals.  Regrettably, two of the victims,  Jordan  Jackson and James Joe are critical and we have just been informed by the doctors that their legs are damaged and they will have to be amputated.

This is most unfortunate as both of them are professional drivers who operate their motor bikes for a living.  The bike that Jordan was riding was damaged. Jordan has a wife and three kids and James has a wife and four kids. Lying here myself recuperating in my  bed, my heart bled for the unfortunate situation these young people find themselves at this moment.  After the trauma at the hospital, they will have a long road to recovery and will need all the support to enable them rebuild their lives.

Unfortunately, due to bureaucratic delays processing my paperwork, my vehicle had not been insured at the time of the accident and as a result, the cost of all of the hospital bills, immediate support for the family, and long term support for victims have to be covered by my family and I.   The challenge and weight of this is intense and we cannot do it alone.

This is why, I am using this medium to reach out to you to ask for your support during these difficult times.   There is no amount too great or too small.   Everything goes a long way in settling this unfortunate incident.
