Chad Hayashi Cancer Care Assistance

What a year huh? My Step Father, Richard Black Jr., was gunned down by the Aurora Police while protecting his home in July. Which the city is of course stalling as much as possible and now this. I've been nearly silent for over a month. A lot's been going on. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. A tumor has formed in the lower third of my Esophagus. First symptoms noticed February. Had trouble swallowing. Could feel food stop below my windpipe. By April 24th, nearly 100% restricted . Checked myself into ER, the evening of 4-28-19. Immediately admitted and put on IV Hydration. It has also spread to my Liver and Lungs. I was given maybe a year. I spent the first 2 weeks of May in the hospital, and apparently nearly died Monday 5-6-19, from malnutrition, dehydration, sleep deprivation and a possible allergic reaction to one of the meds. It's confusing to say the least when you are hallucinating for the first time in your life, and there are 20+ loved ones packed in your room. All while you think your fly fishing, or think you're Jason Bourne planning your escape. Yes really. Don't even get me started on the demanded, 5 hr Deposition about my Dad's killing, that I had to give from a damn hospital bed that same Friday the 11th. Despite my objections. I have completed Radiation and started Chemo Monday 6-10-19.Yea!! I've been told multiple times that this is beatable and to keep my head up. Not counting on it, but I'm also not going to mope around and waste the time that's remaining. I am embarrassed that it has come to me having to ask for assistance. Bills won't stop regardless of my employment status. I had also hoped to make this last summer as Epic as possible for my kids and loved ones. But alas. Here we are. I hope each and every one of you, the best for yourselves and your loved ones. And take it from me. It can change in a heartbeat.
