Ricardo's campaign for The Gray House, Inc

Tax deductible
Hey people so I'm looking to make a difference in a kids life for Christmas...the reason I chose the Gray House is because as a child I attended to their after school program and I attended their summer camp. I attended during a time that my family and I struggled alot. My mom didn't understand english seeing as we had came from Puerto Rico not long ago and she couldn't find a job.  It wasn't until she started working at The Gray House that she was able to find a position in the food pantry. During her time working at the Gray House food pantry and thrift store I was able to attend the after school program and I also attended The Gray House summer camp. When I was old enough to be an after school counselor and summer camp counselor I did.  During my time as a child in the after school program and as a camp counselor I felt as though The Gray House made a difference in my life.  I felt as though I had people to help me whether it was with school or personal problems. When my mom couldn't afford to buy xmas gifts, the toys drives held by The Gray House helped her put gifts for me under the tree. The Gray House was part of my family.  As a counselor I made a connection with all the kids, understood them as best I could, and gave them the best advice I could to try to help them move forward.  At the time I was a counselor at the afterschool program for The Gray House,  it was the director at the time, Eileen Hurley, who convinced and helped me get into college. She walked me through the whole process and thanks to her guidance I was able to get into Elms College. I was the first person in my family to make it into college. The Gray House is genuinely a place that cares and helps the community. I feel as though I am very fortunate for everything I now have and I am going to donate in hopes of giving some kids a Merry Christmas...Anything helps...Thank you
