Rhyme and Reason 2017: Eversion

The ‘Rhyme and Reason Company’ is a youth focused organization with a goal of deliberately creating wholesome content and opportunities for youths development and expression, especially in the Arts. Over the past three years, with a focus on Spoken Word Poetry and Rap Music we have successfully hosted two first-of-their kind concert events featuring local and international artists, to the appreciation of over 2000 youths. We have also provided training workshops in this genre along with our international partners and continue to forge ahead with this vision, in other capacities including a training school.

We require more funds than ever before in bringing to reality this year’s project, another first-of-its-kind, ‘Broadway style production in prose’, featuring Spoken Word poetry and Rap. The event is slated to hold in July 15, 2017 at The Lekki Coliseum.

We are ‘Value-driven’ and not just ‘profit-motivated’ and believe the future of Nigeria should be deliberately nurtured and guided.  We believe that the entire citizenry and youth population of Nigeria and environs can and will be deeply and positively impacted by this particular tour as we raise the bar yet again.

As such, we trust you will be willing to be a part of this historic effort by ‘contributing’ towards the development of our youths and this growing Art-form with its attendant economic potential, in Nigeria.


Our show/events are a tradition of firsts and excellence, being and remaining the first and only shows of their kind in the Nigerian context, and indeed West Africa as a whole.
