Paul's Cancer Treatment

Paul was diagnosed with cancer in the form of a very aggressive brain tumour in January 2019. He had been suffering from severe headaches and small seizures which left him exhausted and confused for hours afterwards. After numerous trips to hospitals and undergoing scans and tests, his diagnosis finally came through and shocked not only the close family but everybody that he has known him over the years.

A course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy has been arranged but with the cancer being terminal in any case, we are considering alternative medication. Paul has been told that the radiotherapy could potentially leave him unfit to go about his daily activities, change his personality and completely diminish his short term memory, which at this stage is already deteriorating. The other drug is very expensive but is less invasive and safer than the radio and chemo so we are eager to get Paul started on it as soon as possible. 

Having extra time with Paul would mean the absolute world to us. He is a Granda of 4 beautiful babies and they are his everything. We cannot describe how much it would mean to Paul to get as much time to see them growing up as he possibly can. He has taken a new view on life and he is living every day like it is his last, appreciating every beauty of every day. 

Any amount of money will help us raise the funds we need to get the medication Paul needs, so, please if you can afford it help Paul buy his extra time. One more year with our Paul just isn't enough.
