UPDATE: Rhonda lost her battle the afternoon of November 1. She leaves behind two  children who are at just beginning their adult lives and careers...who will now have to do it without the love, guidance and support of their mother. Who are now planning a funeral and will be left to manage some very adult tasks at such a young age.

Rhonda McLemore Zacharias has fought more than her fair share of battles… and at this point could probably bench-press a Buick.

In addition to her strength, her radiant smile, kind heart and boundless faith in a higher power are just a few things that stand out about her.

Shortly before Valentine’s Day, 2018, Rhonda was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic rectal cancer. Cupid apparently has a dark side.

This single mother of two is strapping herself in for the battle of—and for—her life.  She begins chemotherapy on March 5th.  

This fund has been established for Rhonda and her children to assist with quality of life and unexpected expenses—medical and otherwise—while she fights the battle. Thanks for whatever you can do!
