RHDHV Three Peak Challenge for Alzheimer's Society

Tax deductible
EDIT: Although there were a few bumps, blisters and bruises, a majority of our group were successful and completed the challenge within 24 hours! Well done team!

This summer a group of intrepid explorers from Royal HaskoningDHV offices across the country will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge!

This will involve summiting the three tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, within 24 hours.

The plan is to summit Ben Nevis on the evening of the 20th of July, summit Scafell Pike in the wee hours of the morning of the 21st, and summit Snowdon, finishing in the town of Llanberis by the evening of the 21st.

The total mileage we will walk over the 24 hours is 28 miles, or 45 kilometres, but the elevation will be 11,181 feet, or 3,408 metres!!

We are challenging ourselves to complete this challenge in order to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, a charity which commits itself to maintaining, improving and promoting its unique knowledge and understanding of dementia. It seeks to define and develop quality in its activities and services, to be inclusive of all communities but in particular people with dementia, their families and the professionals who work with them.  It is a cause which is close to our hearts having affected some of us personally.

We would be grateful for any donation you can give for this worthy cause.
