Help us find our son

When our son Kai first moved to Colorado he was staying in touch with us regularly, calling for advice, and sharing successes and set backs. For the first year he was there this was the norm. We bought tickets to fly him here for a visit in September, but communication had started getting spotty a few weeks before the trip. He was unable to fly because of a lost ID and since missing the flights he's stopped communicating at all. His older brother Wyatt started poking around the best he could from his home in Kansas and we've learned through his efforts that Kai has been homeless since August. More disturbing though is that even his friends in Fort Collins haven't seen or heard from him in 3 weeks now. The police have been contacted and he was last ticketed for camping/homeless behavior 2 months ago.

We are in the process of moving and have very little financial wiggle room but we cannot just sit in Virginia waiting for news when our son is homeless in a Colorado winter. We are raising money to send Greg to Fort Collins to search for Kai. Money collected will be used for travel expenses (flight, car rental, lodging) and possibly cover a second one way flight for Kai if he decides to come back to Virginia to regroup with family. I'm certain there are quite a few things he needs as well. Not sure what his winter clothing consists of right now.
