Restore a Boeing 707 cockpit

Donation protected
We are raising €10,000 for the acquisition, shipping and display of a Boeing 707-330B cockpit, originally D-ABUF “Hannover” with Lufthansa and Condor, and later as N88ZL in executive configuration flying rock stars including the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, the Spice Girls and many others on world concert tours.

This legendary aircraft is being scrapped in Florida this month (September 2018) and the cockpit has already been allocated for salvage by our team. After being containerised and shipped across the Atlantic to a new small aviation museum near München, Germany, the 707 cockpit will go on display alongside the only Air France SE-210 and Mirage 5 active flight simulators in the world.

On site, the 707 cockpit will then be converted in a fully operational 707 simulator. Planned shipping date is October 2018, and the cockpit will be open to the public by appointment in 2019.

To help reach our target, we would like to offer something to you in return.

Your name will appear on a plaque on the cockpit door thanking you for a donation of €50 or more.

For €100 or more, you will also receive a sliver of fuselage skin from this veteran airliner.

For €200 or more, you will receive a sliver of fuselage and an hour on the Caravelle simulator.

For €500 you will receive all of the above and an original 707 cockpit instrument.

All donations of €100 or more will also get a copy of the Haynes Boeing 707 Owners Workshop Manual signed by the author, Charles Kennedy.

We thank you for your generosity and look forward to restoring this piece of aviation and cultural history for us and for future generations to enjoy.
