My name is Ashleigh Brewer and I play linebacker for the Logan City Jets in Brisbane, a womens gridiron team. Earlier this year I was chosen to represent Australia in the upcoming world cup being held in June in Vancouver. This will be the first Australian Womens team to compete internationally for gridiron.
Gridirion is my greatest passion and has been for the last few years. This is a very exciting opportunity and I would be honored to represent my country in the sport that I love. However, this dream of mine has a very large price tag. As a student trying to save $6500 to make the trip to Canada is very difficult. Any money donated will go towards flights, uniforms, a helmet, and game day gear.
