Rex, Alice & Roxy need your help

Donation protected
Three central coast residents have sadly found themselves in dire need of a new family to love them after their beloved owner was found deceased in their home.

Recently the police were called to perform a welfare check on a property and unfortunately made the sad discovery that the occupant of the home had passed away, with her 3 furbabies by her side.

After speaking with relatives, they are unfortunately unable to take the 3 of them on due to having their own pets or because of their living arrangements.  Due to the extreme stress they found themselves in, it was suggested that they be put to sleep – but we disagree.

These resilient little furkids who, we are sure will miss their owner very much, still want to be loved and with their gorgeous personalities, we are sure would like to love someone again.

They are their own little family and to separate them into different homes would be more stress and trauma which would cause them more confusion.  In saying that, we are also aware that finding the perfect home, willing and able to take on these 3 dogs together is going to be a major task as it is a lot to ask of a new family.  But we at CCACF know the perfect family are out there somewhere and we are ready and prepared to find them.  While we are waiting for them to come along, we are honoured to be able to keep them here with us.

Rex, Alice and Roxy are in need of vet work and this vet work must be completed before they can be adopted.  They will also have a vet health check completed, along with any other vet work they may require.

We are reaching out to you all to see if we, as a community, can raise the money for the vet work and care they need so that we may be able to offer them for adoption free to the right home.

A little about this wonderful trio:

Rex is a Kelpie x Labrador born on 25th December, 2010.  Even at almost 8 years old, this fun loving guy is just like a big puppy!  A super friendly guy, Rex loves everyone he meets.  Maybe it’s the Labrador side of him shining through, but Rex loves water and will happily amuse himself with any water source he can find!

Rex doesn’t mind the company of cats and he gets along well with other dogs.  The only exception for him would be that he probably shouldn’t be rehomed with chickens or pocket pets in residence as he does like to chase them.

He enjoys being out for a walk and he has excellent lead manners.

Rex is house trained and shows no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety.

Alice is a Shih Tzu x born on 29th September, 2013.  Sweet Alice walks well on lead and shows no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety.

Alice can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she settles with you she is extremely sweet and affectionate.

She also enjoys being out for a walk and has super nice lead manners.  Showing no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety, Alice seems to avoid cats when she gets the chance.

Alice is a little scared of large dogs (except for Rex of course!) however she does get along well with other dogs her size.

Roxy, chipped as a Shih Tzu x was born on 1st June, 2012 and is a lot like Alice in her mannerisms.  She is a little more outgoing than her little buddy and is also a super affectionate lady.

Once you see the three of them together playing and hanging out, you would have to agree with us that it would be so unfair to separate them.

Every little bit helps and even a couple of dollars will help us to have all of their veterinary work done and be in a position to offer them their forever home to the right family with no adoption fees payable.

Please look into the eyes of these adorable dogs and help if you can.  We thank you for helping us to help them.
