Revive the Rebels!

Our student athletes are energetic, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed!  These young ladies and gentlemen in grades 6, 7, and 8 are ready to hit the field to make our soccer teams an icon in the community.  Many of these children come from non-traditional homes, where they are raised by grandparents, foster families, etc.  A good deal of them are considered underpriviledged, coming from a county with the highest unemployment rate in the state.  Despite our financial hardships, we want to play soccer and we are driven to impress!  Our soccer team has a place for everyone, from the bookworm to the class clown.  We've combined personalities and ability levels to create a unique and diverse team.  Our remaining obstacle is the absence of appropriate outfitting for all of our players.  Our girls and boys teams have 20+ players each.  We lack sufficient funds to purchase uniforms for all of the students who show an interest in the sport, and we don't want to leave anyone out.  We are seeking $450, which will supplement funds we have already raised, to purchase new uniforms and to have our teams looking polished and ready to compete in March.  This money will allow us to purchase a matching jersey, shorts, and socks for each player on our team.  We are looking forward to our upcoming season, and we hope you will consider supporting our cause.  Thank you in advance for your support!
