Reunite father and daughter after 20 years

20 years ago, this wonderful, kind hearted lady and her family made the biggest move of their lives from Zimbabwe to the UK. From the day they arrived they became very good friends to us and our family. April has always been someone We could go to with our worries. She became like a mum to me. She protected me, she cared for us, and she loved us. April hasn’t seen her dad since 1999. Sadly his wife, April’s step mum, Helen,  who moved from the uk to Zimbabwe, to be with April’s dad, passed away just last week after a very short battle with cancer. As you can imagine, April is distraught at the loss of a lady who has been to her, what April has been to us. Nothing but loving, warm, kind, caring and  consolable. What hurts her the most is that, her dad who she hasn’t seen in such a long time, is alone. Dealing with the grief of loosing his wife on his own. We all know what grief feels like, but can you imagine dealing with it on your own? Can you imagine not being able to give a loved one a hug after loosing someone who they cared about dearly. Nah, us neither. And this is why We would appreciate if anyone could put their hand in their pocket and donate a couple of ££, to help us raise enough money for April to renew her passport and get flights to go and visit her dad, who so desperately needs his daughter. We want to help April, like she has helped us by making this possible but unfortunately We can’t do it alone. April is well known in our community for her generosity, her willingness, her caring nature and her supportiveness. It’s time she got the same. So please, even if it’s £5, £2 or even just £1, can you help us, help this truly remarkable woman see her dad.
