Reunite a Family

Donation protected
Terri and I (Joe), moved to Grand Junction, Colorado from Oklahoma at the end of 2013. A friend of mine helped us move and has given us a place to live for the last few years. Before we moved up here, the job market looked great. However; once we got moved it died off, it was the end of the last oil/gas boom in the area; which we did not know at the time. I have been unable to find a decent job. I work full time security, which only gives us enough money to make the payments on our car, which is financed under my friends name, and put groceries on the table. I have been trying to put some money back this whole time and still have not even been able to save up enough for a visit, much less a move.

In the time that we have lived here, Terri's granddaughter has moved to Oklahoma. She has not seen her granddaughter in over 10 years. Most of our family lives in Oklahoma. In all Terri has her daughter, grand children, a sister and a niece and grand nieces/nephews; My mother, step-father, and three sisters all live in Oklahoma. All of them live in central Oklahoma.

Terri's daughter and my mother are both willing to give us a room for a few months while I get a job and get us set up. The cost of living is also a lot cheaper in Oklahoma. So we have a place to go, just need a storage unit for most of our stuff until we get our own place.

There are a lot more job options for me in Oklahoma. I have a degree in computers which opens up a lot for me there that just do not exist in Grand Junction. Even if that was to be a no go, Oklahoma Department of Corrections is hurting for Correctional Officers and I have 5 years of experience doing that as well. So it would be easy for me to go back to that.

What we need is help with the funds for three things.
In order of precedence.
1: Pay off the debts we have here in Grand Junction (~$3500). This would be the car so we are not on foot once we arrive in OK.

2:  To move back to Oklahoma. This includes renting a truck and fuel cost. (~$1500)

3: A little extra for expenses.
Rent a storage unit for our stuff while we live with family till I get a job.  Money for gas while job hunting.

Any extra beyond that would be put aside for us to pay deposits and/or replace the household things we had to leave behind when we moved to Colorado. These are things like kitchen wares and basic furniture (couch, entertainment center, desk, etc..).
