Brody's Medical Expenses
$885 of $3,000 goal
Brody gives unconditional love to the recovery community - now he needs it in return.
In recent months his health has been deteriorating and a recent trip to the vet revealed he needs medical attention ASAP.
To help him get on the mend, he needs:
- An Ultrasound
To try to discover what is causing Brody to vomit repeatedly (and any additional treatment/medication stemming from that)
- Dental Work
To remove his remaining teeth, as they are rotten and causing Brody major pain
If Brody has touched your life with his gentle, welcoming and loving spirit, please consider contributing even a small amount to this campaign.
- 23 people donated towards the fund
- Zoe's Animal Rescue donated one of their four free dental treatments offered by Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital each year.
Brody is back from the vet and sleepy!
His ultrasound went well. They discovered he's got pancreatitis which can be resolved with meds and specially-designed food.
Brody got 13 teeth removed.
25 teeth were already missing.
The vet left 4 teeth on the lower jaw - as they are in excellent shape.
Overall he is a happy camper and already on the road to recovery.
I tried to take a photo of him en route and once at the vet but as you can see, he's too busy exploring his world for silly pictures.
The vet will be calling me later to outline what was discovered and next steps.
I'll keep you all posted.
Again - thank you!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to everyone who has contributed thus far! Every contribution helps no matter the size.
Just received a $200 donation via bank transfer from an Edmontonian (need to check if she's okay with me sharing her name). So our total is currently: $865
I've got a call into the vet to see about when we can get Brody in for his dental work. EXCITING!!!
