Restoring The Life of Khiah Hopson

Donation protected
This campaign has been initiated to restore the health and life of Khiah Hopson (Abdul Aleem). Khiah, a survivor of sickle cell anemia, who is 37 years old was not expected to live past the age of 3, 18, and 30 years of age but do to God's favor he has lived a very fulfilling life. With 3 sons to tend to and love, Khiah has always been the type of father to work very hard and treasure ever moment until his fate on June 02, 2018. While traveling for work to Ohio, Khiah had a stroke which lead to a diagnoses of a rare disease called Moyamoya disease. Moyamoya is a progressive cerebrovascular disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain in an area called the basal ganglia. In Khiah's case the disease was triggered by the sickle cell anemia that he has always had to fight throughout his life. Khiah needs to be medically transported from Ohio to New Jersey for better medical care as he is fighting very hard to keep pushing for his sons, family, and friends. To relocate Khiah from Ohio to a medical facility in New Jersey will cost approximately $16,000.00 and just as Khiah is pushing he needs the help of a village to continue to strive. If Khiah is transported to NJ from Ohio he will be given the opportunity to be provided the care needed to thrive and succeed throughout his fight to restore his life. We are asking that you have a open heart and mind when considering the help and encouragement that could be provided to Khiah and his family. It Takes A Village To Restore A Life; Lets Start With Khiah's!!!
