Restore the Norton Sound Memorial

Nearly 30 years of weathering has taken its toll on the USS Norton Sound Memorial at the Port Hueneme Historical Society Museum.  We need your financial help right now to buy the marine paint for the anchor, chain and foundation as well as the very expensive dipping process for the bell.  US Navy volunteers will be doing the work but we are expecially calling on those who have served at any time aboard the USS Norton Sound as well as residents of Port Hueneme.  The money will be collected by the City of Port Hueneme in a non-profit account called REACH.  The Museum has a Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/PortHuenemeHistoricalSocietyMuseum/
