Restore some faith in humanity

I've recently moved house and during move dat my 89 year old neighbour introduced himself as Percy and offered to make 7 complete strangers a cup of tea. Percy is a wonderful human being, always up for a chat, he walks the other neighbours dogs for them, takes everyone's bins out for them and always has a sympathetic ear. He is a great example of neighbourly spirit and has made me me feel so welcome.

The reason we're  raising money for this amazing chap is because while he was in hospital a few weeks ago his house, one he has lived in for 37 years, was robbed. The only thing they took was a wallet, but this wallet was a final Christmas gift from his beloved wife Lillian, who sadly passed away a little while ago. In the wallet was £350 which he was saving for Christmas so enable him to buy Christmas presents for his grand and great grand kids. On top of this he has paid out for a new security system, which is a lot of money for someone in Percys situation.

All I am asking for is for 300 amazing  individuals to donate £1 so at least Percy knows he is cared about and he can put it towards the security system or Christmas for his family.
