On Friday, 15th December 2017, a young family got the keys to their first home. They were on the way back to their rental basement to pick up their sparse belongings.
On Hwy 403 and Mavis Road in Mississauga, their small car lost control, went over the barrier and hit a post.
Despite heroic efforts by Mississauga Fire & Rescue, Ontario Provincial Police and Peel Paramedics, Athash Priyan, aged 6, lost his life His nearly full term pregnant mother Nithya Raghupathy (aka Nithya Prabhakaran) is in critical condition at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. His father Prabhakarn Ramalingam is being treated at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga.
As his friends, we stand behind them during this terrible time.
