Residency June 2019
Donation protected
I am heading into the final residency week for 4th semester in the Masters in Fine Arts degree. I have to travel to Whitefield, NH this coming weekend, and for the first time in 2 1/2 years I am unable to pay my own way. I don't have money to travel by plane, train, or bus. I am asking for 13-15 people to donate $40 each (or anyone with any amount) to help me with gas, so I can drive to the final residency week.
Residency week is a required component of the writing program. It's an essential part of learning the craft of fiction writing, having the "writer's bubble" with other writers, and networking with others we normally wouldn't have access to.
I would be eternally grateful for any dollar amount to help me get to residency. As a public thank you, I will add you to the acknowledgements section of my novel thesis when it is completed in this last semester by December (if you want to be included in that list).
