Rescuing Maria

As a child, Maria's parents divorced when she was 2, and she was
 
sexually molested by her stepfather from age 3 through age 14. When Maria informed her mother, she was ignored, and nothing was done.

Married at 26, and the mother of three children, Maria's husband could not hold a job, so Maria went to work.  Soon after, Maria's husband
divorced her, and Maria raised her 3 children alone.

Recently, with her 3 children in their early 20's, Maria's apartment was burglarized in daylight hours and completely trashed. Her 19 year-old
daughter was in her bedroom when two Hispanic males broke her door down and trashed her room. Traumatized with fear, this daughter is
now delusional and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.  She has
been taken to live with her father.

Now alone, and unable to stay in her burglarized apartment, Maria
prayed for help, and a friend helped her move to an apartment owned
by  an elderly lady who recently moved.  She may lose this no-contract housing whenever the owner decides to rent it to someone else.

Maria is a dedicated, hard-working woman, but is employed in a
commission-only job without any healthcare benefits. She has been
forced to seek rent and food and gas money assistance from her
Church.

Because of her never-resolved childhood sexual abuse issues, the
recent burglarized home issue, her burglary-traumatized daughter's
mental health condition, and a family history of depression, Maria is
now very depressed, and getting out of bed is a daily struggle for her.
She does not have healthcare benefits and is desperately seeking help.
