OUR NEXT PROJECT - A SMALL HOUSE - SPECIAL CARE - ISOLATION- ROOM
We are currently starting our next project at the sanctuary.
A small house which will consist of 2 small rooms an open living area with a kitchen for cooking the and preparing the food for the dogs and a storage area for food and supplies... In the front of the open living area will be a puppies area shelter to seprate the puppies from the larger dogs. Also a small constained isolation area for the sick puppied that need special care and observation.. This is extremely important to be able to seperate these special cases . We also have our kind good friend vet Dr Ketut who comes regularly to check the puppies and dogs.. Our plan is to setup a clinical room where medications and treatments will administered and extreme cases can be under full time observation.. This room will need special equipmment and medical supplies. One particular piece of equipment is an incubater.... for the very small tiny puppies that will need special care.... Due to recently experiencing a lack of proper professional care at a particular Vet Clinic.... where this was needed we lost a puppy due to lack of this equipment.... which is unacceptable... this death could have been avoided.. there was one available at this clinic unfortunately .. However they did not think of moving it into the isolation area...Our aim to make sure our recuses have every chance of survival. Including special care equipment medications ,treatments etc.
I have recently returned home to Australia from my visit Bali and the Sanctuary .. we are making great progress and improvements daily. We also had some amazing rescues during my stay.... many small puppies..... Which I was involved in caring for many of these at my villa during my stay..... helping to get them strong and healthy, with regular feeding 4 times daily administering medications 2/3 times daily including ,immune boost , nutri- gel, collidal silver and more... all puppies doubled in weight some even more during my 30 day stay.. Rex older dog.....was in a shocking condition.. He is currently at our small isolated emergency location in Tabanan..He is making great progress with constant feeding treatments and medications. Regular visits from Dr Vets from Vethoscope Bea & Bjorn and Rika volenteers ....
This locaton is perfect for larger older dogs for isolation. However it is not suitable for small sick puppies....The buildings in progress now and the puppy station is looking amazing.. The foundations for the house is done and on its way.. soon Bea & Bjorn will be able to live at the Sanctuary.. The veggie garden has been planted .. so this will help us be more self sufficient.. You are welcome to visit and interact with the dogs and puppies. Jus contact us and we can organise a time to meet you ..
