Rescued Lab/Pit needs double hip surgery

We adopted Orly, a Labrador/Pit Bull mix from For the Love Of Dogs, an organization in Ossining, New York that focuses on finding dogs for hard-to-adopt rescues.  Orly came into our lives in January of this year.  She had been badly treated - having a scar running down her back and smaller scar on top of her head.

Despite her mistreatment, Orly is a special creature with only love to give for all people.  She has an adorable wiggle to her body when she is excited.  She adopted us the moment she met us, and we spent several visiting sessions with her and the staff of For the Love of Dogs, learning how to care for her.  We've become a family thanks to Orly.

The staff told us upfront Orly requires a double-hip replacement. The operation is scheduled for March 29, 2019. We knew it would be expensive and that the rescue organization would have a hard time getting Orly the treatment  she needs.

We'd love to be able to give back to For The Love Of Dogs  in addition to getting our sweet puppy healed.  They've arranged for Orly's surgery to be at a discount from a local veterinarian they work with. 

Whatever contribution you make to Orly's surgery costs will be used for her treatment.  Anything you donate above and beyond the cost will go as a donation to the rescue organization For the Love Of Dogs so other puppies like Orly may find their forever home.
