The Kitten House Rescue is very sad to report that our Landlord, NRE Realty, has put the Rescue on notice that we must pay $3,214.66 in past due rent within the next 3 days or they will terminate our lease and lock us out of the Rescue Center.
Adoptions and donations have been extremely slow, and funding is down. We have spent every dime we have collected trying to keep the rescue afloat, but the rent continues to be our main stumbling point. We are simply unable to raise enough funds to pay the monthly rent. We are currently 2 months behind on the rent, and the landlord is demanding $3,214.66 in 3 days.
Currently, we have over 100 cats/kittens in our care needing homes. I cannot even to begin to know what we are going to do.
